Data acquisition in ACE Aerodrome just got a major upgrade. On October 1, 2026, we moved every Aerodrome data pipeline from our legacy ETL platform to Prefect, a modern Python-based orchestration platform. For customers, that means quicker data delivery and self-healing pipelines, plus integration updates that ship in minutes.
Outages Fix Themselves
Every building data program eventually loses a gateway or a source system for a few hours. Aerodrome now handles those moments automatically. Prefect detects any intervals that failed to arrive and reprocesses them once the source returns, keeping your trend history complete for analytics and fault detection.
More Speed Across the Board
Flows now run concurrently and scale with demand. Routine data lands in Aerodrome sooner, and large historical pulls finish in a fraction of the time. New sites benefit most, since onboarding often starts with loading years of trend history.
Integration Updates in Minutes
Vendor APIs change regularly, and our integrations now keep pace. Each one runs as modular, version-controlled Python, which lets our engineers deploy an update across the whole stack in minutes.
Every Run, Fully Visible
Prefect tracks each run with logs, retries and alerts. Our Customer Success team sees that activity in real time and can usually resolve an issue before it ever appears on your dashboard. If something does reach you, the run history points straight to the cause.
A Platform Built to Grow
Prefect also speeds up how ACE builds. New integrations and data tools start from a shared framework, so we can bring more of them to Aerodrome faster.
Analytics, fault detection and energy optimization all run on reliable data. With Prefect in place, Aerodrome keeps data flowing faster and more consistently than ever.
